The Security Labs SLM447 16 channel surveillance system comes with everything you need to connect and operate the plug-and-play components in the box. The pentaplex DVR incorporates the latest dual stream H.264 video codec technology. Up to four times more video is stored on the same size hard drive as compared to previous models. Dual stream video processing records the highest quality video possible to the hard drive while adjusting the image compression to optimize the DVR's internet transmission speed. Smartphone monitoring, alarm e-mail with images, SMS text messaging with an image, or text only alarm notification messages provide maximum access and connectivity. Alarm notifications can be generated by video motion detection or via any of the 8 alarm terminal inputs. The sturdy cast aluminum case bullet cameras have a high resolution (700 TVL) imager with a mechanical IR cut filter that insures accurate day time color reproduction and optimum night vision capability. The camera’s video/power cable is secured inside the swivel bracket and a shield to help block the sun and rain from the lens is also included. Installation under an awning, eave, or soffit away from direct rain is always recommended. The included Central Monitoring Station (CMS) Software gives you the ability to monitor up to 64 cameras on one PC screen with video streaming from multiple Security Labs 250 series DVRs.
