This device connects directly to the HD NVR and will allow you to connect and power 8 additional Revo HD cameras. Also it will allow for better control and communication between the recorder and the switch. For example, the Revo HD NVR can auto detect which ports the Revo HD cameras are connected to. In addition to that, the Revo HD NVR can cycle the power of the Revo HD camera even though it’s connected to the switch. This means the NVR can control the PoE power of each port. This Device also offers automatic network Configuration and individual port data transmission to the Revo HD NVR. Finally the Revo HD switch supports high end network security so you can have the peace of mind that your video surveillance devices are secure from outside access.
