Type CH 30 Amp Double-Pole Surge Breaker - Description

The CH surge breaker is designed to provide complete home surge protection for sensitive electronics and appliances from the damaging effects of surges. In addition to surge protection, the CH surge breaker is a functional 2-pole thermal magnetic breaker providing protection for overloads and short circuits. The combination of circuit protection and surge protection provides flexibility and space savings in the load center.

• Eaton’s CH surge breaker occupies two 3/4 in. spaces similar to a double-pole type CH breaker
• Direct connection to the bus bar provides superior protection and easy installation for new construction or renovation
• LEDs provide protection status
• Exclusive “Trip to OFF” and simple 1-step breaker reset feature eliminates the need to turn the breaker off before turning to the ON position
• Eliminates the potential for incorrect installation of externally mounted surge devices - (longer “lead” lengths can reduce protection levels)
